The Cell processor architechture in use is not complex, but its fully different from what it is on PC. its taking time to reverse-engineer all the games needed to run better on PC.

Only thing bogging down the PS3 emulation scene is the odd processor architechture. Ok, maybe that's not that heavy like you say but then can you imagine PS3 with that complex processor running on your PC? Its at the moment running 2x its original resolution x4 its original native texture resolution with no dips and lags at all, so its at base 8 times heavier settings than on original Ps2 settings. If my "medium rig" can run a PS2 game upscaled from its original 1024x1024 resolution up to 1920x1080, PLUS add to that the performance hit from having 4x upscaled textures and screen resolution, its not heavy. Rumblepad working all fine with the emulator. Im running MGS3: snake eater right now on PCSX2 1920x1080 widescreen hacked, along with 4x upscaled resolution and 30fps lock (otherwise, the cutscenes speed up way too much) But the game still can run MGS3 with no problems at all. And if PS2 emulator is that heavy on PC then imagine PS3 engine running on PC. There's nothing on youtube or anywhere to be found. Oh, yeah? What's the name? Because my firend said he played a PS3 emulator on PC but there's nothing I could find about a working PS3 emulator, so I really doubt it exists. There actually is a working PC PS3 emulator, got released march this year.
